OVERLY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THIS CONCERT SEPT.2ND!!!

I SCORED TWO TICKETS TO MUMFORD AND SONS FOR $45 EACH INCLUDING TAX FOR ME AND MY FRIEND ABBIE! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Just wanted to share that excitement and also tell ya my concert history!

MY FIRST CONCERT:

JONAS BROTHERS 2008 OR 2009??

Amazing first concert with my older sister and i even made a sign (cheesy)

SECOND CONCERT THE SCRIPT!!

2011 

I went with my sister and her husband chris who is from Scotland so he was super excited being that The Script is from Ireland, he felt a connection. 

This concert was amazing and nearly perfection because it was quite small and was held at the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. 

MY ALMOST 3RD CONCERT!!

ADELE LAURIE BLUE ADKINS

(PRE SICKNESS)

I SCORED THREE TICKETS TO SEE ADELE LAURIE BLUE ADKINS in the famous Ryman Auditorium but after being rescheduled 2-3 times and eventually canceled due to her throat surgery, i wasn't able to go. Needless to say, ive been an Adele fan for nearly 3-4 years now so upon her super famousness i scored these tickets in April of 2011 and I think Adele should have had a special concert for all the people who didnt get to see her.

Now all I have of the almost concert moment of my life is 3 untorn tickets :(

Cant say i know alot of these guys songs but a few of my friends really wanted to go so why not? Its an all day event and a festival so im excited! Gotta brush up on my Justin Moore & Jake Owen music tho!!

Dale Hollow Lake

Havent written on this blog in a few weeks due to my summer actually being busy and filled with things to do, places to be, and people to see!

It seems like i never get to do anything or never go anywhere anymore but lately its been CRAY CRAY BUSY!!!

BUT I LOVE IT

I had an amazing 5 day trip with family and friends to Dale Hollow Lake where the water was so clear and beautiful!

I am by no means a water/outdoor/nature person and I really didnt want to go on this vaca actually because my number one rule on swimming is

IF I CANT SEE WHATS BENEATH ME, I AM NO WAY GOING TO SWIM!

but luckily, this water was clearer than most oceans. It was a very pretty blue color. During our trip i encountered many things that i would like to share!

1. We slept in a wooden cabin and while i was sleeping, something fell on my head and i felt it. IT WAS A BUG with like 6 legs and for the rest of the night i didnt sleep, at all!

2. While swimming chilling with my people my mom YELLS "SNAKE!" there was a slithery snake 2 feet behind me and i swam so fast to the nearest boat, even tho it wasnt my boat i pulled down the later and tried to climb on but it swam away quickly so i swam even quicker back to my own boat and didnt get in the water for another 2 days after that!

3. I went tubing, which I have done before but its been a L O N G time since. It was amazing but ended quickly due to a lightning/rain storm! So upon it raining for an hour+ straight, a few of our friends and their boat all docked at a marina and just chilled. 

4. We got to experience trying to find our way back to our marina at night only going 10mph in the cold... no bueno!

5. We had to tow one of our friends boat to the nearest marina which took most of the gas and alot of time!

OVERALL, I had a very well rounded boating/nature experience on my little vaca.

So I am the proud owner of a shihtzu named Paisley and she is just pure joy in my life! I just look forward to coming home to my puppies and how happy they are to see me!

So upon searching interest late at night i came across a pet bed made out of an old suitcase and i have TONS of old suitcases because they are so beautiful and i love them so i thought why not repurpose one if not more into a dog bed?!

I plan on doing a full blog post on how i made it soon, i just wanted to share the pure joy that is PAISLEY!

IF I HAD AN APARTMENT...

SO just playing around on photoshop (which i do quite often)

and i decided to make a little collage of what in my eyes my apartment would look like.

I am into just black/white/grey color schemes and i hate tans so these grey couches from Ashley Furniture are pretty amazing and I'm not sure where the chairs are from.

The wall quote/decal is from Etsy and who doesn't love

Why yes that is a photo taken last summer for my senior

pictures inside of a authentic red phone booth, but sadly it

wasn't taken in London, England but a quaint town in Indiana not too far from the state I live in.

THE FACTS

-I dont like to be a follower, I'm deff. a leader when it comes to life and i like to be different. There isn't anything about imitation i like. 

My favorite quote is "For it is better to fail at originality than to succeed at imitation." 

When i order ice cream from a shop or something I'm never one to order VANILLA, i mean why limit it to the basic flavor? I often find myself using the word generic/vanilla to describe something boring or not original.

-I am pretty obsessed with all things england/scotland/ireland but mostly ENGLAND. I have always been curious of the things that happen in other countries and their lifestyle. I watch countless British vloggers on Youtube and read Sprinkle Of Glitter's Blog because who doesn't love a good british accent in videos and then BONUS a blog so you can follow her life (stalker much?) lol

My sisters husband is straight up scottish which i love because now i have a connection to the UK and excuse to go there someday!He is from a small town in southern scotland which i will be visiting soon so im SUPER excited.

I have a list of the things i MUST see/experience while im there

which brings us into the next point.

-LIST MAKING! Im a very organized person, like my closet has all matching felt hangers and is organized by color & tops/bottoms.

I love to just make list like a crazy one i have which I've had since 2009 is possible future child's names that i love and there are around 50 of them that I've heard thru out the years.

-I am bursting at the seams to live somewhere unique and quirky like ENGLAND but i don't think i have the guts to pick up my life and move to another country by myself. I thought maybe when I'm married someday i can convince my husband to move to England unless of course he already lives there. How awesome would that be? :/

-I am currently in college and studying VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS!

This obsession with graphic design and really design in general started around Middle school when Picnik (the photo editing site) came about. I used to just really love the fonts and always had an eye for design so in high school i enrolled in a visual communications class and fell in love with ADOBE! and the rest is history folks.
